In 2017, Horizon Aviation English project began to be prepared. The main work in the early stage was industry research, gathering experts and building a resource database of this field. In January 2019, Tianjin Jingwei Horizon Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established and settled in Tianjin as the investment attraction project of Dongli District. Jingwei Horizon is committed to improving English proficiency of flight cadets and in-service pilots, aimed at training a new generation of high-quality pilots in China. Jingwei Horizon has professional teams of aviation English teachers and curriculum developers. Currently, it has established aviation English courses and cooperated with Civil Aviation University of China in 2019 to provide IELTS training for commissioned students of China Southern Airlines. In the future, professional aviation English training programs will be set up for air traffic controllers, aviation maintenance personnel and cabin crew.At the same time, Horizon cooperated with Hejingtaofu group to build a civil aviation university standard of INTERNATIONAL Civil Aviation Organization, integrate international and domestic resources, and realize the alliance, specialization and service of civil aviation industry. It offers flight technology (undergraduate), flight attendant, aviation maintenance, uav application and other professional courses.
With international aviation education as the center, it aims to build China's first-class and world-renowned aviation "industry-University-Research" college of Civil Aviation, the whole industry chain. It aims to train a new generation of high-quality talents in the aviation field, establish an international aviation school oriented to the world, and exert its international influence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Through the influence of aviation education, the whole industry chain can be created, regional and even national aviation industry resources can be fully mobilized, advantageous forces can be gathered, and the internationalization of China's aviation industry can be promoted to meet the increasing demand for talents in the aviation industry.
